Ana’s Dance
As part of my Communication and Audio-Visual Production studies at London Guildhall University, I created Ana’s Dance as my first directing project. The short film is set in London in the early 2000s and centres on Ana, a devoted tango dancer whose world begins to fracture when her relationship collapses. As she struggles to navigate the emotional aftermath, she increasingly escapes into the rhythm, intimacy and imagination of tango — blurring the line between memory, longing and the inner refuge that dance can offer.
Exploring themes of identity, loss and movement, Ana’s Dance became an important production for my time at the university.
