From 2011 to 2016 I worked as an assistant editor on the ICA commercials, one of Sweden’s most iconic and longest-running advertising campaigns. My primary responsibility during production was to sync audio and picture for the edit, ensuring that the postproduction team had clean, well-prepared material to work with as each new film was assembled — often on tight, daily deadlines. The ICA campaign, known for its recurring characters and soap-style humour, became one of the most recognisable formats in Swedish advertising history. Contributing to the workflow behind such a high-volume series gave me deep experience in efficient media handling, continuity support and fast-turnaround commercial production.
