For the inauguration of the Esrange Space Center — mainland Europe’s first facility for satellite launches — I served as a camera operator for the official ceremony. The event featured keynote speeches by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and Sweden’s Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, followed by a ribbon-cutting with H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf. The program concluded with a virtualized rocket launch, marking the opening of this landmark European space facility.
