Sustainable in Europe follows a series of stories across the continent that show how looking back can help Europe move forward. The film explores how traditional practices, local knowledge and existing infrastructure are being reimagined with modern technology to create cleaner energy, reduce waste and make daily life more affordable. Innovation here isn’t abstract – it’s visible in homes, villages and cities that are finding smart ways to use fewer resources while protecting what people value most. Through these examples, the film shows that climate solutions don’t have to come at the expense of ordinary families. Instead, they can help lower bills, strengthen communities and make Europe more resilient in a warming world.
