For more than 15 years, Focali has brought together researchers, practitioners, policymakers and civil-society actors working on forests, climate, biodiversity and livelihoods. At a time when complex global challenges demand cross-sector collaboration, spaces for genuine dialogue and shared learning are more important than ever. I produced a video for Focali that was shown at their annual meeting — a gathering designed to strengthen the network, spark new connections and allow participants to exchange insights across disciplines. The film helped introduce the community, highlight ongoing work and invite new voices to join Focali’s mission of bridging research with real-world impact.
